I was in Sal earlier in the summer and was concerned about the welfare of animals on the island and whether something could be set up to look after them. I am aware that a charity was set up in Teneriffe and wondered if the same could happen on Sal. I know that other fellow travellers have been moved by the number of seemingly unadopted animals and would welcome a more humane way of managing the numbers by neutering and spaying rather than the use of poison.
